A horror soundtrack that plays it straight. "Don't Go Camping" and "He's Coming" aren't ironic titles—they're exactly the warning the characters ignore, and "Midnight at Obsidian Hollow" is the sound of the woods deciding they've had enough visitors. "Billy Bob (Obsidian Hollow Theme)" closes the record as the creature's own theme, played completely straight.
Astrid Caldera carries most of the dread here, with Flamingo Panda supplying the false sense of security in the early tracks before everything goes wrong. Press play after dark. That's the only way it works.
